R for statistical Computing

Today while working on a project i came across doing some statistical computing like t-test.
While searching on web i came across R.
R is a free software environment for statistical computing and graphics. It compiles and runs on a wide variety of UNIX platforms, Windows and MacOS.

It can be used with C# as R-(D) COM interface explained here – http://www.codeproject.com/KB/cs/RtoCSharp.aspx
